Our Future Business Logo

It's one of the possible logos that we are going to use for our future online/offline business.

We're still finding out the right meaning that will fit any of the eight possible combinations out of the the two parts that will form the right logo that will relate to our future online/offline business activities.

It's a symbol that will give hints to potential client what kind of business the company is doing.

It's something that people will easily remember and convince them to take or to do business with.

We're praying that in a year or two, we'll have our own business that we have desired to do.

Lantern

I just thought of doing the lantern like the one shown in this picture.

It's more complicated than the one I did as shown in one of my previous posts.

Actually, it was not in my mind to take a photo of that lantern. It just happened that our youngest daughter was sitting near to it when I took the picture.

Anyhow, I just wish I would not be very busy before Christmas so I could explore doing this new version of a lantern.

If our children's schools requires them again to bring any lantern during Christmas season, then at least I already have an idea of what I am going to make.

Home Made Loom Band Designed Bracelets

Some more of our children's home made loom band designed bracelets.

When they got bored of the things they're currently doing, they will then turn to the box that contains the loom bands and do these loom band bracelets.

We thought before that it's one of their hobbies that costs us lots of money because three of them could finish one box of loom bands in just a day or two.

However, now we realized that their reading habits costs us more than the other hobbies they had since they like us to buy them different books (novels), though they read them all. They just want to read first their favorites, then after, their sisters' favorites.

Anyhow, it's good for their brain developments. The only thing is, when they start reading, it's very hard to disturb them of anything.

Abacus

It's our eldest daughter's school project at the Holy Redeemer of Cabuyao last school year 2015-2016 when she was at her grade 8 level.

It's easy to make, but we had difficulty of finding the right beads with the right holes that will fit the thin irons which hold them together line-by-line.

She became expert of using this instrument. She can add, multiply, subtract and divide using this home-made abacus.

She's so lucky to have learned it from her school. During our time, we only heard the name Abacus from our teacher, but never saw it, even in a picture.

Newspaper Basket

This is our eldest daughter's school projects last school year 2016-2017 at the Holy Redeemer School of Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines.

It's made of a rolled newspaper and each component stand like a stick before it's individually shaped, glued and attached with each other.

It was painted several times with different colors until finally, our daughter decided to have blue as the final color.

What a brilliant idea. I never thought that an old newspapers still have its usefulness.

She got a very good rating for this project. It's easy to do and cost very less amount of money, and that was for the glue.

Grade 9 Level School Project - Lantern

It's our grade 9 level eldest daughter's school project.

It's another type of lantern which I had learned to do myself through our daughter's guidance.

It's made of yarn which was dip into a bowl that contains some amount of glue.

Few meters of yarn wet in glue was rounded in a balloon and then dried in a night.

In the morning, the yarn rounded in a balloon dried up and when we burst the balloon, it left us this hallow object. My daughter considered it as lantern.

Our First Christmas and First Christmas Lantern in the Philippines

It's one the home decoration I and my family had made together in our first Christmas in the Philippines in our brand new home.

After more than three decades, I could still remember how to do this beautiful lantern which I always did when I was still less than 10 years old.

I learnt it from my father who did my school project when I was still in grade one level.

I like doing it and even thought of selling it during Christmas season. But my concern was, how many I could do since I am busy with my work.
